To claim the Connecticut River for their sovereignity and to conserve, preserve,
and nurture its' natural resources for their reservation along both banks
of it, as far as it shall reach, even to the end of it,
and if it shall reach further into Canada or Maine
or to the Atlantic Ocean, so shall the Connecticut River
Indian Tribal Nation and its'
members from before recorded
history to the present time and the future, to our descendents from generation
to generation.
