New Mexico Prosecutorial Misconduct

The above is an embarrassment to the State of New Mexico as the world has seen through the trial of Cody Posey. Many people across this country as well as many other countries are outraged at the District Attorneys office in which this became a Salem Witch hunt to not only go out of their way to abuse a child that has been abused all his life but also to lie blatantly in the court room.

Sandra Grisham lied in the courtroom when questioning the witness Jim Forrester during the sentencing phase. Mr. Forrester stated that he had indeed talked with an officer from the DAs office before the trial even began. Ms. Grisham stated he had not. But then went on to read the statement/transcript that Mr. Forrester had given to the DAs office.

Sandra Grisham has touted through the whole trial that Codys abuse was just discipline so why did she ream Mr. Forrester for not reporting the abuse he witnessed? She doesnt make any sense. This roller coaster ride has many of us swimming with nausea.

Ms. Grisham also told her own witness, Dr. Myers to you need to stop answering and thats when we couldnt hear the rest of what she told her own witness. Wasnt that misleading or telling her witness what to say so she could receive what she wanted to hear?

The one big mistake that the prosecution made in their case was to completely ignore the abuse factor. Even the jury, acknowledged that there was abuse. The decision they reached in Paul's death is proof of that.

Key and Grisham knew that Cody snapped, period end of quote. They failed to do their duty as outlined in the law by not investigating this case further before charging Cody. When Cody asked Shouldnt I have a lawyer? The confession should have stopped immediately and complied with Codys request to exercise his Miranda rights. Many adults dont understand their Miranda rights, so why should we expect a child to understand them any better?

Also Sandra Grisham has not or apparently will not bring charges against Verlin Posey for perjury. Posey stated under oath that his brother had never abused Cody period. Then he made statement to the press that his brother may have stepped over the line a time or two. Completely contradictary statements.

They immediately began orchestrating a kangaroo court for the purpose of obfuscating the facts with expert testimony saying that this kid was just making the first moves of his serial killer career in order to receive the maximum sentence for this child. Their hatred for Cody is obvious to all.

I truly hope you do the right thing, investigate this DAs office and put a stop to wasting the taxpayers dollars.
