We insist the University Administration of Northern Michigan University do the following
- Eliminate so-called "proficiency testing" as requirement for graduation
- Update all outdated curriculum to modern state and NMU standard
- Actively identify and fight any possible bias within the program
- Monitoring (approval by higher administration) or removal of the music department student handbook
- Actively observe pass/drop/fail ratios within each class and adjust class content as necessary
- Develop solid administrative procedure allowing Music Majors with serious issues a proper channel of conflict resolution, preventing students being "sent in circles" between various tiers of management.
