Sony, you have got to stop abandoning PS3 backwards compatibility! The PS3 needs it! There aren't enough good games for the PS3, so we need the ability to play PS2 games on it! So many people have PS2s, and they should be entitled to play all their old games on the new PS3! The thought you are putting into ditching backwards compatibility is thought you could be putting into keeping and improving it! PLEASE GIVE US A NEW PS3 WHICH CAN PLAY PS2 GAMES!

Neither I nor anyone who I know will buy a PS3 for this very reason. I would like to buy a ps3 but i simply refuse to until this issue gets addressed, and will actively discourage anyone who is thinking of buying.

I believe that is is a very big mistake on sonys behave and will contiune to voice my ideas on why not to purchase ps3 systems because its not backwards compaible, and is a great failure to sony to ditch something that its very loyal customers would love
