We the concerned neighbors, home, and property owners located in the neighborhood of Bolivar Heights, Surrey B.C. Canada are strongly opposed to the placement of a drug rehabilitation center operated by South Fraser Community Services to be located at 11184 143a Ave.
This facility is scheduled to open on January 1st, 2011 so we have very little time to rally against the opening.This sort of facility will bring detrimental effects to our family based residential neighborhood. As a family oriented community, we have worked very hard to keep our neighborhood safe and we strongly feel this drug rehab house has no place in our neighbourhood.
Family and safety takes precedence over all else and this drug recovery house will bring increased crime and other undesirable activities with increased danger to our children and families. As well as a sharp decline in the market value of our homes.
Please sign this petition yourself and forward it on to concerned family, friends and neighbors as soon as possible; We as a community need to take a stand to keep our families and children safe.
This petition will be forwarded to relevant people at appropriate media outlets, the Govt of B.C. the City of Surrey and our local MLA Bruce Ralston.
