Nord Stage Librarian

Dear Clavia,

with the present we kindly ask You to evaluate the possibility of releasing full SysEx information for Your Nord Stage product.

Our intention is to work on and release a completely free Patch Manager/Librarian for Your product for both Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh platforms.

We believe it would be very useful for most if not all Nord Stage users to have the possibility of editing, managing and creating patches via the Nord Stage Librarian. Ideally, the software interface would resemble the Nord Stage panel as much as possible in order to provide on-screen, mouse-powered possibilities for real-time patch editing.

We believe this application would greatly enhance the vital role the Nord Stage has in our daily studio and live work. Studio musicians would be allowed to work on the Stage settings directly on-screen, therefore accessing its entire sound palette on the fly. Live musicians would greatly benefit from the possibility of organizing their sounds and working on them directly via their Laptops.

The Nord Stage has top-notch, excellent sounds for everyday use, meaning: acoustic and electric pianos, organs and synthesizers. It is very easy to see how not only this keyboard works great as a stage instrument but also sustains most of the studio sessions by providing some of the most important and frequently used sounds in every day music, regardless of the genre and style.

The developers team may contact Clavia Tech Support should it have questions, doubts and need for additional details but this will only be done for the sole purpose of developing said application, make it fully functional and easy to use. This will always be done in full respect of Your priorities, availability and agenda.
