STOP GAS PRICE GOUGING NOW
The Following Gas Companies have been charging citizens excessively high gas prices and they are continuing to rise each and everyday to the detriment of our family, friends, and livelihood.
In 2008 when this occured, the Department of Justice, the Department of Commerce and the Department of Energy as well as local government rallied together to help citizens in the fight against Gas price gauging but you all seemed to have forgotten or abandoned us, and do not appear to be exercising any avenues for us as consumers to voice our disatisfaction and disagreement with gas companies raising prices in excess of $1.00 within more a few days without any regulation or consequences.
How are citizens to pursue life, liberty, and happiness when you don't enforce legislation to stop this GREED. Since silence is acquiescence, we do not sit back and agree to this behavior by Gas Companies and request that you invoke stiff criminal penalties on the unconscionable behavior and prosecute offenders under Trade Practice Laws and place ceilings on the price limits within 1 year a gas company can raise their rates on consumers who have to drive long distances to earn a dollar and our employers do not provide us income that keeps up with raising rates of gas, electric, food prices.
The following gas companies ARE IN VIOLATION of PRICE GAUGING. Since we vote you in, please look to your next election as impetus to bring remedy to the US citizens in this matter:
