Nov 26 - Citizens Actions to Defeat Pakistan State Sponsored Terrorism

We, the Citizens of India and the Citizens of the World, do hereby solemnly remember the innocent victims of terrorism around the world, and do hereby in one voice:

[A] Condemn the disgusting and horrific acts of hostage taking, unspeakable torture and murder by Pakistani-army-trained and Pakistan-state-supported terrorists against defenceless men, women and children from India and from other countries of this world for over two days in Mumbai during 26-29 Nov 2008.

[B] Demand that both Indian and international Governments act decisively and act swiftly against Pakistan as the proven state-sponsor of global terrorism (e.g. EU Parliaments indictment of Pakistan at http://news.in.msn.com/international/article.aspx?cp-documentid=1716658) so as to force it to handover to the international community to face justice the perpetrators of the Mumbai carnage as well as the perpetrators of the dozens of other mindless terrorist acts around the world that have also all been sponsored by Pakistan.

[C] Understand that we also have a collective capability and a collective responsibility to act against state sponsored Pakistani-terrorism instead of just remaining silent spectators awaiting the next slaughter. We commit to act now and act forcefully to ensure that:
(i) The voices of billions of People of the World and the cries of tens of thousands of Innocent Worldwide Victims of Terrorism will not go unheard or be ignored by our Governments
(ii) We / our families / our friends / our fellow citizens / our guests / other peoples in the world will NEVER AGAIN have to face the horrors inflicted by Pakistani-state-sponsored terrorism.

We, the Citizens of India and the Citizens of the World solemnly agree to act individually against such state-sponsored terrorism by committing ourselves to take any one or more of the following four actions:

[1] To forward this petition with a request that it be signed by as many as possible of our fellow citizens, and as many as possible of our friends and relatives in all nations around the world

[2] To petition our respective national governments to officially declare Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism if it does not immediately hand over to the international community to face justice the leaders of its Pakistan-based terrorist organizations as well as the officers / agents of its state institutions actively nurturing these terrorist organizations.

[3] To check prior to purchasing products or services from any company whether that company has any commercial dealings with Pakistan or any other State Sponsor of Terrorism, and if so then either to buy our products / services elsewhere or else at a very minimum to formally register our concern about that company having business dealings with / in a terrorist state.

[4] To express goodwill towards, actively give a preference to and if possible buy products / services from companies which display on their product labels and customer facing documents a clear disclaimer: This Company Does No Business with / in States that Sponsor Terrorism.
