Nova Scotia Rumble Strips

We, the undersigned, would like to petition the Government of Nova Scotia to adopt the policy of installing what are commonly known as rumble strips along the shoulders of the 100 series highways in Nova Scotia with a maximum of 6 months to study and begin affecting a solution.

This preventative measure is relatively inexpensive compared to the cost of the lives being affected by those suffering from driver fatigue, cell phone use and other road hazards.

This simple device could have saved the heartache and suffering of a 4 year old girl on the Veterans Memorial Highway outside of Hilden on the 6th of December, 2006.
