Obama: Stand by Israel!

We, the Undersigned, call on President Barack Obama and Secretary Hillary Clinton to rescind their highly irresponsible statements toward the Jewish State.

We place squarely at the feet of President Obama and Mrs. Clinton the creation of what appears to be a contrived and transparent controversy, which we believe hurts the cause of peace.

We urge them to reiterate, without delay, our nation's longtime and abiding respect for Israel, a friendship based on Americas security concerns and our shared Judeo-Christian values. Israel has been and remains America's best ally in the Middle East.

We call on the Administration to address concerns with the Israeli government in a constructive manner rather than enhancing with exaggerated statements what appears to be a crisis manufactured by the Obama Administration for political purposes.

We stand united to stop the spread of terror, Shariah rule, Islamic imperialism, and quiet jihad across the globe. We recognize that Israel has long been on the front lines of jihadist terror and aggression, and remind the Administration of Israels strategic importance to U.S. national security.

We support the State of Israel in its efforts to build homes legally for Jewish men, women and children on Jewish land, a right that was granted under international law through the Mandate for Palestine, which assigned to the Jewish People the irrevocable right to settle the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. This right has been unaltered in international law. Because Jewish Settlements in Judea, Samaria, Gaza and every inch of Jerusalem are legal under international law, we are shocked and saddened by President Obamas maladroit handling of the announcement that 1,200 apartments were to be built for Jews in Israel.

We applaud Israel's recent statement regarding the announcement that the Tomb of the Patriarchs and the Tomb of Rachel are Jewish holy sites and thus under control and responsibility of Israel and the Jewish people. We commend the State of Israel for announcing to the world the historic and biblical truth that the Tomb of the Patriarchs -- Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their wives -- as well as the Tomb of Rachel and other sites, have been from their outset Jewish Holy Sites tied to the Jewish People and the Jewish Land of Israel.

We stand beside those who believe in Truth and historical accuracy, and reject intimidation and threats by Palestinian Arab President Mahmoud Abbas that there will be another intifada unless Israel and the world deny factual history.

We eschew the trumped-up pretext for violence by Mr. Abbas, who proclaims that Jews should not be allowed to build homes in Jerusalem, and that the Tomb of the Jewish Patriarchs as well as the Tomb of Rachel, wife of Jacob, belong to a Muslim heritage.

We underscore that the world cannot allow Islam, in its quest to bring more and more territory under its control, to lay claim to land and holy sites that are not theirs, and attempt to invalidate spots and spheres that originated in Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism and other religions and cultures.

Finally, today we call on Jewish communal and religious leaders to take a vigorous, public stand in support of Israel and to speak out forthrightly at this time for Israel. President Obama and Mrs. Clinton should be asked to re-direct their indignation toward the true aggressors in the region: not only the Palestinian Arabs who do not value peace, but also those Islamic imperialists and Shariah dictators who are persecuting, torturing and slaughtering non-Muslims, as well as their own people, in many places across the globe.
