Object to loss of Harwich & Parkeston FC Car Park

TDC, owners of the club car park, have included the land in its Local Plan which shows how Dovercourt will accomodate a 6% rise in housing.
Tendring District Council, owners of the club car park, have announced plans to include the land in their Local Plan (see web link) http://www.planvu.co.uk/tdc/written/cpt9.htm
To accomodate a six percent rise (240 houses)in houses built in Dovercourt in the next ten years. We at the Club stongly oppose this sale.
The car park is an invaluable facility for the club as it used used by players, on both training & match days, staff, customers & guests at the Social Club, football and American football supporters & players, as well as people attending Boot Camp, Zumba and Bingo. It is also used by people using Mayflower School and Tendring Adult Education Centre as parking at the school site is limited. We fear that loss of the car park would condem the club to extinction if the car park is lost
The plan is available to view until January 2013.
