Ohio Breed Specific Legislation

This united states, this "free" country that I live in has been making me feel like a slave to the system since I was very young. Now I'm not sure about you but I do know that I myself am tired of seeing prejudice people day in and day out. Names are slandered and people are ridiculed every second that we are alive. Millions of people die every year because of stupidity, ignorance, and even accidents. I've come to realise that man has become afraid of things which they can't seem to understand and one of those things...nature. Animals are one of those things that people are afraid of.

In this so called free country people are trying to make it so that we cannot have the animals we love and care for. Casually telling us that we have to toss them away or kill them. When I look at these things it makes me want to fight. It honestly makes me want to walk up to one of these law-makers that make these things possible and punch them in the face. Normally I'm not a violent person. No, normally I would kill just to be with my family, have fun and not worry about anything else. The problem is things are just getting to out of control these days.

The particular animal I want to bring your attention to is the AMERICAN! Pitbull terrior, yes, they're an american to. They don't deserve to be victoms of prejudice. They like us are who they are. They like us, have feelings and theirs can be hurt just as well. There are people trying to ban them everywhere. They want them gone like the dinosaurs apparently, which I for one do not agree with, but I am here today to speak for one state in particular that has a bsl against APBT's. Ohio. I would love more then anything to own a pitbull however our state says you must pay thousands to own them and from what I've heard your dogs have to be muzzled for you to walk them.

Now I don't know about you but I think that's kind of stupid. In toledo a man owned 3 pitbulls, two of his dogs were ripped from his family, two family members, killed because the town says no more then one. This is ohio, the heart of America, the heart of it all according to many yet this is how our state treats us? Say no to bsl and sign this today, not for me, but for the dogs who wish to serve and protect their family. For these dogs who want nothing more then to have a home with loving people and for all the people out their that cannot share the love of an APBT because they don't have the thousands of dollars in insurance to keep one.

Please...stand up for what is right.
