Open Campus For West Bend High Schools

We the students of West Bend West and East High school are petitioning for an open campus policy for ourselves and our fellow students. The open campus policy would benefit students during any periods where no classes are scheduled, and during an hour lunch period. Students at the high school level are responsible enough to handle a policy such as this, and need not be treated as children through their high school careers. An open campus policy for our school would greatly benefit local businesses by helping boost our towns economy. Students would also benefit academically from an open campus policy if they left an assignment at home. With a chance to return home to obtain forgotten assignments, and turn them in on time, would help boost our schools average GPA too. Please help our school, and community grow together with a policy that teaches responsibility, time management and trust towards one another.
