We the undersigned seek for the governments of the world including the United Kingdom and the United States of America to work in association with the United Nations to:
1. Call for an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon - between Israel and Hezbollah.
2. Work urgently to try to build a lasting peace in this region of the world.
3. Deploy an international peace keeping force with the powers required to maintain this peace.
We feel that the current stance of some governments in refusing to call for an immediate ceasefire is unacceptable.
