PETITION TO THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY BOE
We the undersigned endorse the following petition:
The Montgomery County BOE should permanently maintain Bus #5202 for students attending Rockville High School(RHS). Walking routes between RHS and the affected neighborhoods present numerous safety and security issues. Additionally, eliminating the bus would increase vehicle congestion and traffic surrounding RHS, Earle B. Wood Middle School, and the overpopulated holding school located in the Manor Lake Community. It would make a bad situation worse.
We strongly support maintaining Bus #5202, and we believe that its elimination would jeopardize the safety of students.

It is extremely unsafe to have our children walking along Baltimore Road next to the woods. There are plenty of children to accomodate the bus route and it should definitely continue!!

Old Batimore Road is not a safe road to walk along under any circumstances. Eliminating the exisitng bus route would force as many as 80 students to walk along this highway in the dark, the rain, and other un-safe conditions. As a Mongomery County taxpaye
