Mr. Nathan Blacklock, Mr. Mike Slovick, Mr. Darryl Mills and Mr. Stephen Chambers:
We are requesting you cease and desist your creation of the TV show "Paramedix".
We, the undersigned, believe it is distasteful and damaging to the profession of Paramedics, especially of those employed in the province of Ontario.
We, the undersigned, are a respected profession and your choice to exploit the image of Paramedics as having substance abuse and authority issues is shameful and disrespectful.
We, the undersigned, will boycott any material, TV station or associated relationships that is directly or indirectly related to your show concept.
We, the undersigned, will lobby Paramedic unions and associations to pursue any possible legal actions against defamation of our profession.
We, the undersigned, believe any publicity you derive from this petition is to be construed as negative towards the creation of your show "Paramedix".
We request that you immediately cease the production of "Paramedix". If you wish to pursue your concept of a Paramedic show, it is requested you research and portray Paramedics in the appropriate manners.
