We, the students of Hillsborough County, hereby petition to have our exam exemptions reinstated. We realize that swine flu is a serious issue, but we do not feel it is important enough to result in the loss of our exemptions. Although the "policy has been criticized in the past for encouraging students to come to school sick, instead of staying home," it is conducive to higher forms of learning. We fear that this choice will cause many students to lose morale and study less than they already do.

this is so ridiculous, as a coming senior this year i am lookin forward to exempting most of my exams so tell me whats the whole point of being present everyday if i have nothing to look forward to, trust and believe there is going to be a lot of skipping

I agree that Attendance-Based Exemptions aren't the best, but it is unfair to just take away exemptions. If academic based exemptions were put in place then there would be no problem, but to have no exemptions is just wrong and disgusting and unfair to st
