We, the undersigned, hereby request that the City of Peterborough legislates bylaws requiring any company that provides garbage bins for their customers to offer the appropriate recycling receptacle(s), so we the citizens can separate our waste in order to facilitate the greening of our planet. Make Peterborough an example of what a co-operative society can be!

I believe that both recycling and composting should be mandatory. Places like Tim Hortons need to think about what they are throwing away.

I constantly see people throwing out recyclables, it is very upsetting! If I can't find a recycling bin, I keep the can or bottle until I do!
