Petition for Building Height Ordinances in Beaufort County

We, the undersigned, do respectfully request earnest consideration of zoning and height concerns in our county. Due to recent significant development pressures in Beaufort County and the lack of growth management tools, we request that the Beaufort County Commissioners immediately establish and implement building height limits in the county. Simultaneously, we urge the commissioners to review and create long range planning tools for the implementation of zoning ordinances in the county to protect our rights, property, and heritage.
