Petition for the Office of fair trading to investigate Brighthouse and Cavendish Finance's procedures. We the undersigned would like the OFT to investigate the procedures and general treatment of customers by the above companies, Brighthouse for not only their treatment of customers but also their lack of support in the goods sold, they often refuse a customer their statutory rights for repairs and replacements. Goods are being sold “as new” which are in fact second hand or may have even passed through a number of customers hands before being delivered. In addition to this the companies also use aggressive behaviour and in some cases issue threats to pursue debts. Please could you investigate these matters on a national level as each store will and should act differently in accordance to the staff. Thank you
