We, the undersigned, hereby call for the resignation of the Minister of Transport Noel Dempsey, over his appalling and ludicrous decision to force Learner drivers to be accompanied by a qualified driver at all times, or face fines of up to 1000. This is not in anyway possible for the majority of us, due to work and daily travel commitments. It is also not feasible due to the long waiting lists for full licence tests, and the fact that only 5 days notice of this change to the law has been given. It is clear that Noel Dempsey is unfit to hold this position any longer and we ask for his immediate removal from office.

524. Christopher N | They should have a time based system - so that you can drive between the hours of seven am and eight pm to allow people to commute to work / actually do their jobs. I wouldn't have an issue if they want to take L platers off the road at night given that t
