Petition to allow East Dorset residents to use their recycling and waste bins with no maximum limit and not be penalised for any excess they may have!

We, as residents of East Dorset District Council, believe we should have a say in how our waste and recycling system works. We are paying residents of our council tax therefore our voice should be heard.
There should be no limit on how much waste is allowed and how much we recycle. If our bins are full then additional sacks/ boxes or tubs should be allowed as authorised containers to aid the reduction in landfill waste.
Families should not be penalised for having young babies/ children, pets or larger families which encourages additional waste and recycling through no fault of our own.
It should in fact be down to the manufacturers to reduce packaging and we should not suffer for eating food every day and living our lives!!
The local waste scheme is not working well as it currently is and needs a rapid change to become effective until 2015 as planned. Unless of course they are hoping to actively encourage foxes and vermin roaming the streets and tearing open left behind refuse and fly-tipping becoming a daily occurence.
The alternative is to have weekly collections.
Either way our voices need to be heard!
