Petition summary and background- School District 23 is proposing turning George Elliot into a 'school with-in a school' placing grade 7 students within the high school resulting in a grade 7-12 configuration. Lake Country students, some as young as 11, would be attending this highschool.
Action petition for- We the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our school district leaders to act now and listen to our objections. We want to keep our grade 7 students at their elementary schools until a middle school has been built.
