Petition to Request MTV Unplugged Session by Christina Aguilera

We, the undersigned, do hereby politely request that RCA recording artist Christina Aguilera perform a televised session on MTV's Unplugged and subsequently release the Unplugged session on compact disc sometime during late 2007 or early 2008.
As fans, we have waited patiently for the release of Christina's third full length studio album, 'Back to Basics'. Unfortunately, as realists we know that within a year's time of the album's release, promotional work and vocal performances by Christina will dwindle until they cease altogether, while Christina goes into what she refers to as "hibernation" in between recording albums. This hibernation period (as we have witnessed in the past) can last for several years.
We, the fans, think that this downtime following the second leg end of her tour supporting the 2006 album 'Back to Basics' would be perfect for Christina to record an MTV Unplugged session.
We would like to suggest that Christina's Unplugged session include songs the span her entire career, rather than just material from her latest album (i.e. singles, non-singles, B-sides and rarities, and perhaps a NEW song or two).

I think Christina would shine in an Unplugged session. She's one of the handful of singers out there now who could pull it off and create something great with it. Unplugged needs to come back for Christina!
