Placebo To Adelaide and Perth for 2006 'Australian' Tour

Recently the UK band Placebo announced an Australian tour. Unfortunately, much to the disappointment of many fans, two states with proven dedicated and large fan bases have been left off of the 2006 Meds Tour.
Concert dates in Adelaide, South Australia and Perth, Western Australia were not included in the recent press release from Michael Coppel Presents stating that Placebo would once again be visiting our shores after a two year absence.
With a new album debuting at number 4 in the Australian charts and previous sold out shows in the aforementioned cities, fans are shocked and appalled at their lack of inclusion in the forthcoming September tour.
Fans in these cities have always done their best to support Placebo through purchasing their music, buying their merchandise, endlessly promoting the band and of course through purchasing concert tickets when the opportunity arrises to hear the band they love play live. Unfortunately as Placebo are not playing in Adelaide or Perth it will mean that a lot of true fans are heart-wrenchingly missing out because they are unable to afford the considerable expense ($500+) of buying an interstate concert ticket, return flight and accommodation.
We, The Undersigned, have created this petition to not only voice our concern about missing the opportunity to see this great band perform live, but also to show our collective desire and dedication to Placebo in hopes that their 2006 September tour schedule will be altered to include Adelaide and Perth dates.
