Please release Bettye LaVettes Tell Me A Lie album on CD
Bettye Lavettes first album, Tell Me A Lie, was originally issued by Motown
in 1980 and reached number 48 on the Billboard black album chart. Additionally,
a single taken from the album - Right In The Middle (Of Falling In Love) - was
released and reached number 35 on the black singles charts. Despite the success
of this album, it has never been reissued on CD
As long time fans of Ms Lavettes work, and given her growing popularity
amongst the world-wide music buying public, we the undersigned feel that these
recordings are more than worthy of re-issue. We would, therefore, respectfully
ask you to consider scheduling them for re-release in order to make them
available to her growing fan base
