Please save the life of Michael Rosales

Michael Rosales was convicted of stabbing a 60-year-old woman during a burglary. Michael Rosales is guilty of the crime for which he was sentenced to die. He confessed to the murder and we are aware that it was truly a gruesome crime.

We feel sorry for the victim and have deep sympathy for her family. With asking you to commute the death sentence of Michael Rosales we do not want to downplay what he did.

It is our belief that the death penalty is not fitting in our time anymore and we are convinced that it is inhumane and cruel. Instead of putting criminals to death we believe in responsibility.

Michael Rosales should be forced to take responsibility for his doings. For the rest of a long life he should remember what he did to this elderly lady. Through showing him the mercy that he didnt show at the time of his crime, we should encourage him to become a better person. This is what punishment is about, showing the wrongdoing so that it leads to betterment.

We ask you to give Michael Rosales the time to take responsibility for his crime, therefore, please commute his death sentence to life!
