Postponing Disertation Deadline

Dear students,
I have received many complaints regarding the dissertation deadline and demands for a petition. The main arguments are:
There has been no real structure in place for dissertation development.
CASS encourages us to apply for graduate schemes, the majority of which have time consuming deadlines and assessment centres in December.
The first term included many core subjects and therefore increased the preparation necessities during the December break.
Moreover:
Other Universities have later deadlines. (LSE has no dissertation at all)
Other Universities have Dissertation guideline lectures throughout the year.
Management and Systems have their deadline in April.
By postponing the deadline the school would at least give us a choice and allow for better performance.
