Proposed World Class Family Roller Skating Center in Winnipeg

We are meeting with Winnipeg City Councilors next week  and if you agree Winnipeg could use a brand new state of the art roller skating facility for our families and children to help promote health well being and exercise so lets make it happen! It would be nice to have as many people as possible to sign this. We are asking the City of Winnipeg for some help read below/

The Story

We are a Winnipeg roller skating, roller blading group. We are proposing to the City of Winnipeg to acquire the Vimy arena in the St James /Crestview area for the purpose of transforming it into a World class family roller skating center, that will offer many other skating groups such as roller derby and inline skaters the opportunity to skate on one of the largest free-span floors in Canada.
This Roller Skating center will boast one of the largest free span (no posts) floor in Canada, awesome party rooms, an off-skate area that will put most to shame and a sound system that will be second to none playing all the current music as well all of your favorite requests.
The Vimy arena is one of three ice rinks that the city will be decommissioning in the near future. If you would like to see this happen then please show your support by and sign.
