-For the past 3 years the Medical School at the University of Liverpool has hosted a unique, nationally-acclaimed 4-week elective 'Healthy Inclusion' course that looks at issues such as homelessness, refugees and asylum seekers
-After a single, fabricated complaint about a lecture on Palestine, the course has been cancelled without any consultation with students or staff, in a shameful assault on academic freedom.
-No course should be closed down on the basis of a sole, unreliable complaint
-The content and continuation of courses and modules should be determined democratically by students and educators, not behind closed doors by administrators
-Professor Greer, of the School of Medicine, should reinstate the course immediately and make all such decisions in the future in full consultation with the lecturers' unions and the Liverpool Guild
