PROYECTO CABALLOS LIBRES

Desde que los colonizadores españoles reintrodujeron el caballo en el continente americano y el hombre descubrió que podía dominarlos y amansarlos, la vida y el destino de estos magníficos animales quedó signado por la voluntad humana.

En la actualidad la mayoría de los caballos son utilizados para prácticas deportivas gracias a sus magníficas condiciones físicas. Pero existen otros menos privilegiados que están condenados a servir como animales de tiro.
Estos caballos maltratados y descuidados que a diario circulan por las ciudades con las cabezas bajas, los cuerpos sucios y la visión reducida, no viven la vida para la que fueron creados. La mayoría se encuentran mal alimentados, con patologías nutricionales y traumáticas y todos presentan la columna arqueada hacia abajo por el excesivo peso que cargan.

Existen profusas legislaciones según las cuales los únicos vehículos de tracción a sangre que pueden circular por las ciudades son aquéllos de carácter histórico y folklórico. Pero hay legislaciones vigentes que no se cumplen, servidores de la ley que desvían la mirada y proteccionistas que no protegen. Pareciera que los que utilizan a los animales de tiro carecieran de la sensibilidad para darse cuenta de que son seres sintientes y no una mera prolongación de los carros que arrastran.

Es deber de quienes gobiernan cada sociedad, dar los instrumentos necesarios para que sus ciudadanos tengan una mejor calidad de vida y ofrecer opciones válidas que no involucren el sacrificio de seres vivientes.

Ante la magnitud del daño físico y emocional de que son víctimas, es que el PROYECTO CABALLOS LIBRES alza la voz por ellos, que no tienen voz, e insta a las Autoridades y a todos los seres humanos a solidarizarse con estos animales nobles y serviciales que están siendo torturados y matados de trabajo, sed y hambre por quienes no están siquiera a la altura de su dignidad.

Hace décadas que en el mundo dejaron de usarse las carretas. Ya no estamos en la época de la Colonia. Devolvamos a los animales de tiro (caballos, mulas, yaks, bueyes, etc.) al lugar al que pertenecen: la libertad.

Si estás de acuerdo en alzar tu voz para hacer cumplir las leyes, para ayudar a que los animales de tiro no vuelvan a trabajar y para que se los reubique en la Naturaleza, por favor, FIRMA ESTA PETICIÓN.

Para que nunca digas que pudiste hacer algo y no lo hiciste.

FREE HORSES PROJECT

Since the Spanish colonizers reintroduced horses in the Americas and discovered that man could control them, life and fate of these magnificent animals was marked by human will. At present most of the horses are used for sporting activities thanks to his superb physical condition. But there are other less privileged who are condemned to serve as draught animals.
These abused and neglected horses who walk daily through the cities with their heads low, bodies and dirty sighted, do not live life for which they were created. Most of them are malnourished, with nutritional diseases and traumatic and all show signs of lordosis, ie column bowed down by the excessive weight load.
There are profuse laws under which the only traction blooded vehicles that can circulate through the cities are those used in historical and folk events.
But there are existing laws that are not met, servers law that divert the gaze and protectionists who do not protect. It seems that those who used to draught animals lacked the sensitivity to realise that they are living beings and not a mere extension of the cars that drag.

It is the duty of those who govern each society, give the necessary tools for its citizens to have a better quality of life and provide valid options that do not involve the slaughter of living creatures. Due the magnitude of the physical and emotional harm that they are victims, FREE HORSES PROJECT hike the voice for them, who have no voice, and urges the authorities and all human beings to sympathize with these noble animals that are helpful and being tortured, killed and massacred work, thirst and hunger by those who are not even at the height of their dignity.

Decades ago the world ceased to be used carts. We are no longer in the era of Cologne. Returned to draught animals (horses, mules, yaks, oxen) to the place they belong: freedom.
