TO THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF CORONER
We, the undersigned residents of Ontario, draw the attention of the Office of the Chief Coroner to the following:
THAT the death of Jordan Jacko raises Public concern regarding the safety of our children while at school.
THAT issues of lunchtime supervision, emergency response and first aid training exist in the public school system; and
THAT the avoidance of future deaths in the school system is a priority to the community
THEREFORE, the petitioners call upon the office of the Chief Coroner to call an inquest into the death of Jordan Jacko so that a jury can make useful recommendations directed to the avoidance of death in similar circumstances.

I was shocked to learn recently that no one in our school has sufficient first aid training. As a babysitter of 12 years old, I was sure to take a first aid course to be prepared to care for younger children. At the age of 12 I knew how necessary it was.
