Racist influences in Runescape

On the game Runescape by Jagex Ltd, there is an area of desert in which AI characters named bandits reside. These bandits are some of the few coloured AI characters in the game, this alone is somewhat discouraging to me. When you are wielding an item of your runescape god, the bandits will attack you while also saying "Prepare to suffer, Zamorakian scum!". This instance is if you are wielding an item of the god "Zamorak".



The message behind this seems to be that black bandits living in the desert will kill you for worshipping a god other than to their own. As a result the game engages you into combat with them and you are expected to kill the 'bandit'.







This petition is to have Jagex acknowlege the situation, If Jagex were to remove the "zamorakian scum!" part of the message, and perhaps change it to a different reason for attacking the player. This would remove the relgious aspect. A fair and amicable resolution can be discussed, debated and easily implemented once Jagex acknowlege the situation.
