Recall President George W. Bush for His Inability to Lead in Times of Crisis

Whereas President George W. Bush has repeatedly demonstrated his incompetence in the face of national crises, we the people of the United States of America demand his immediate recall from the Presidency.

During the September 11 crisis, Bush lost several critical minutes in responding to the first World Trade Center crash.

In New Orleans (and surrounding areas), he wasted many critical days while fellow Americans were confronted by the worst natural disaster ever seen by this nation-state.

The elderly and the sick were among those left stranded in homes and on highways without the bare minimum of food or water, while their calls for help fell on deaf ears within the federal government.

Apparently, Bush is incapable of leading this country in a crisis, a necessary requirement for the President of the United States.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the Hollywood community and individuals in the Music industry were faster to respond to Louisianas call for help than was the President of the United States.

As our nations leader, Bushs failure to act in times of emergency has caused irrevocable harm to the morale and economy of this country.

He has profoundly scarred the collective consciousness of all Americans by demonstrating his obvious willingness to abandon our most desperate citizens in their hours of need.

Further, he has humiliated the nation internationally by showcasing his incompetence, which is sadly translated into American incompetence, in general.

George W. Bush does not deserve to represent the millions of hard working Americans who depend on strong presidential leadership in so many important affairs.

Unlike Bush, most of us Americans cannot sit by and watch our fellow citizens suffer without food, water, housing, medical care or protection for days while we rest in the comfort of our own homes, only a few hundred miles away.

New Orleans is not a foreign country.

These are our families and friends.

These are United States citizens whose hard earned money is meant to be used to secure the most fundamental levels of assistance and protection by the federal government, such as after a natural disaster.

Yet, Bush turned his back on the people of New Orleans and other affected areas of the South, at the time when they most needed his resources and guidance.

Many have died in the South because of his negligence and incompetence.

It is once again evident that Bush is not equipped to lead this country.

We demand a Presidential RECALL election immediately!
