Glasgow lack of recycle bins, and in a big city like Glasgow is simply ridiculous. I live in West End and basically it is not possible to recycle paper and plastic, the nearest recycle point is Tesco in Maryhill which is not that near if you don't have a car. Everyday we produce so much rubbish that could be recycled and not recycling for a lack of Glasgow City Council makes me very upset. They should be the first to incorage people to choice recycle. I decided to create this petition after a recent experience, when I was fined £50 because I tryed to recycle in a private bin. I had to pay the fine and also I cannot recycle any more as I don't have bins near my house. In my opinion they should be fined for not provide to their citizen basic things as recycle bins. I want to try to collect as many signatures as possible to ask City Council more recycle points and more easy to access.
