We, the undersigned, are disgusted by the Apple Ipod's 18 month battery life. We demand that Apple offer a REASONABLY priced battery replacement service. The current $99 charge for a battery valued at less than $10 and service that takes less than 3 minutes is preposterous.
Should our demands go unmet we will continue to generate bad press such as the "Ipod's Dirty Secret Website (http://www.ipodsdirtysecret.com/). The website has received nearly 2,000,000 hits since inception.
As rational consumers we cannot stand idly by as Apple steals our money for a faulty product and generates further profit through inflated repair charges.
