Reduce Our Federal Government - No More Socialism - And Restore Capitalism to the Heart of Our Society

Dear current Federal Government:
This is neither conservative, nor liberal; but simply a petition to return to the foundation of this country: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. This is a petition to REORGANIZE, MOVE AND REMOVE CERTAIN POWERS OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND TO MOVE AWAY FROM SOCIALIZATION AND HIGH TAXATION. This petition is geared towards many flaws within our Federal Government System but focuses on two:
1. That the US government absolutely DOES NOT have the right to interfere with any capitalistic affairs (individuals or businesses),
2. That the US government absolutely needs to surrender any power (regulation, taxation, or otherwise) to the states that seems legitimate for the states to enforce.
The government's responsibility is to ensure national safety from foreign threats as well as protect and ENSURE the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of individuals and businesses/organizations that are started and run by individuals (even at the expense of economic prosperity for periods of time).
Our Federal Government is NOT:
- A source of economic stimulus
- A corporate bailout
- A health care system
- Socialized Welfare
- Socialized Unemployment
- Any form of "common good" (or better explained: everyone throws in to pay for someone's misfortune; and/or negligence/laziness).
Our freedom is threatened. Our money is paying for more and more socialistic systems and now you (The Federal Government) are setting out to create a socialized health care system that will severely damage the market for capitalized health care (thousands of legitimate jobs created by capitalism). This is unacceptable and the taxation to create general welfare systems like this must end.
You, the Federal Government, are becoming a domestic threat to two of the three primary purposes of your existence: liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When you take our money away from us to pay for socialistic general welfare programs, you remove our liberty and replace it with a government handout. The less money in our pockets, the less opportunity for success at any endeavor; which ultimately reduces our ability to pursue happiness.
The United States Declaration of Independence states the following:
"That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends (life liberty, and the pursuit of happiness) it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
Therefore, we the people of the United States demand in accordance to the declaration of independence a reform of our Federal Government that will do the following:
- Removal of ALL of the Federal Government's power upon foreign and domestic capitalistic affairs (with the exception of currency production and maintenance, and foreign sanctions) leaving them (capitalistic affairs foreign and domestic) to the states' discretion.
- Removal of ALL Federal regulation upon businesses leaving regulation to the discretion of the states'.
- Removal of the ability of the Federal Government to borrow money for the purpose of any form of stimulus or socialistic/general welfare program (borrowing for the armed forces/transportation is acceptable).
- Removal of ANY Federal law that has been created that could have been created within a state for the purpose of any form of regulation
- Removal of the ability of the Federal Government to use any funds from ANY TAX SOURCE on frivolous endeavors.
- Removal of the ability of our Federal Government to tax any more than 15\% of individuals' or businesses' income under any circumstances. You (Federal Government) need to learn a little bit about budgeting.
Any further income to operate our government will have to be raised as any organization would raise funds to accomplish and end.
Although this may result in laying off most of the government, think about all those taxes that could go back into the pockets of Americans where real ideas, business's and jobs can be created. The idea of the government "creating jobs" is a very, very dark direction that leads farther and farther towards socialism and away from the very freedom and capitalism our forefathers fought with their lives for.
