We the fanbase of the Reading Royals Professional Hockey Club located in Reading, Pennsylvania petition the General Manager, Gordon Kaye to reinstate the song "Mony Mony" by Billy Idol into the nightly music playlist. We believe this song adds to the "unfriendly" atmosphere in the arena and thus, creates conditions in which it is difficult for our opposition to play well. We also believe this song is instrumental in creating fan unity, fan participation and fan empowerment. We believe Reading Royals management should not cater to the minority who deems this song or chant to be offensive due to the word "sucks" being contained within.
