Release Caroline or Change on DVD!

The purpose of this petition is to ask executives at HBO Films to consider releasing the filmed DVD of the musical Caroline or Change. Caroline or Change never received the credit it deserved. In the long run, however, it will prove to be the defining musical of this decade and HBO has the chance to help it along the way. There are thousands of members of the theatrical community who were not able to witness the transcendent beauty of this musical. Tony Kushner (Angels in America) and Jeanine Tesori (Violet) were able to present a majestic portrait of an ordinary woman leading an ordinary life and turn it into an extraordinary American canvas that is not only a representative of life but a representative of hope. It is up to the executives at HBO films to give this musical the chance it deserves. Please support the petition to bring Caroline or Change out on DVD!
