This petition is designed to let Warner Bros. Home Video know just how many fans want "The New Adventures of Robin Hood" (NAoRH) released on DVD.
As consumers, we would like Warner Bros. (WB) to understand how important this is. NAoRH may have been a television show for only 3 seasons, but it became a cult classic. We recognize that WB may see this as a small fish in comparison to other shows released on DVD, and may even see this as a waste of time and money. But we disagree. NAoRH, if released on DVD, could reawaken the love of this genre in a time when reality tv is starting to fade out. Genuinely good shows are getting harder to find these days, and we feel NAoRH was one of them. We understand the need for big companies like WB to see only the side of money and marketing value, but we would like to change that view. By releasing this show on DVD, they are recognizing us as important customers and would definitely benefit from that decision. Each of the people signing this petition are not only expressing their desire to see this show's 3 seasons revived, even if only on DVD, but they are also expressing their intentions to purchase those DVD's, once they are released.
We appreciate WB's consideration of this petition, and hope to see its results in the near future.
