We the people of this world, find that religious violence and discrimmination is wrong and harmful to this world. We the people believe all views to be of equal value, and useful to the furtherance of mankind, and are to be respected. All religions have the right to worship in their own style, and shall not be hindered or persecuted in any way, shape, or form. Violent religious persecution constitutes, zealotism, ignorance, hatred, genocide, war criminal activity and perpuates a destructive cycle. Because a religion disagrees with another does not give any follower of either religion to take a life, or harm in any fashion. We the people feel in our own hearts that this is wrong, and must be brought to an end. We believe we can disagree without violence, and that we as a human race will make much more progress using our intellect, rather that brute and military force. We feel that all religious leaders, should sign a treaty, calling for non violence between all religions, and stating the same as above. We the people also believe that new international legislation should be passed, protecting the religious rights of all. This legislation shall state, that violent in the name of any religion are terrorist and war criminal acts, and that all perpetrators shall be imprisoned for life without chance or parole. It shall also state that the perpetrator shall be tried in a fair international court, to prevent predujice, and kangaroo courts. Asylum, shall not be granted to a perpetrator, under penalty of international anti-terrorist law. The perpetrator shall be extradited, for international trial from the site of arrest. Free debate of religious views and beliefs is encouraged, in order to promote learning and understanding of religious beliefs and cultures. We the people believe that passing of this petition into international law, to be a positive step towards peace, order and tranquility in this world, and we the humans of this Earth combine as one race, the human race, in order that we all may profit from the steps of this petition towards world peace.
