Renew Martina Fitzgerald as RTE Political Correspondent

It has emerged that RTE has failed to renew Martina Fitzgerald's contract as political correspondent after 5 years. She is now going to be replaced by yet another male reporter. This is a backwards step for gender equality on RTE. Not only that but Martina Fitzgerald has been the face of political correspondence on RTE news for the last number of years and has excelled at her job. I urge RTE to reconsider their decision and to renew Martina's contract and keep her as political correspondent on RTE News.
