SAVE ALTINCAMP

Dear Prime Minister Erdogan,
with deep consternation we have noticed that a huge portion of the shore of Altincamp, a camping place with a long tradition, has been ruined by the unlawful removal of legally built protective walls and by the excavating of massive amounts of earth from the camping's estate, both commissioned by the mayor of Burhaniye. Since two years, the camp is being confronted to destruction through the forces of the Sea.
Preventive measures for the protection of remaining trees and buildings were prohibited, even more demolition orders were issued and thus pressure was applied to the long-time operator of Altincamp, Mrs. Melahat Altin, to abandon the business.
We hereby appeal to you to enable an inspection about the persons involved in the illegal destruction of Altincamp and help to restore the camping place to its original state.

Burhaniye Belediye Başkanınca Altınkampın sahil şeridinin haksız bir hafriyatla toprağı ve ağaзları sцkьlerek, tьm istinad duvarları yıkılarak, denize terk edilmiş olup, koruyucu цnlem alınmasına engel olunduğunu, Belediye Başkanınca kampın yasal tesislerine yıkım kararları зıkartıldığını, Altınkamp'ı yarım asırdır işleten Melahat Altın'a bu şekilde baskı uygulanarak yıldırılmaya зalışıldığını ьzьlerek цğrenmiş bulunmaktayız.
Altinkampı yoketmeye зalışan kişilerle ilgili soruşturma aзılmasını ve tesisin eski haline getirilmesinin sağlanmasını acilen цnemle arzediyoruz.

Sehr geehrter Ministerprдsident Erdogan,
Wir haben mit groЯer Bestьrzung zu Kenntnis genommen, dass ein groЯer Uferstreifen des Traditionsbetriebs Altincamp aufgrund einer unrechtmдЯigen Entfernung von legal errichteten Schutzmauern und Bдumen sowie durch das Abtragen von Erde seitens des Bьrgermeisters von Burhaniye ruiniert wurde. Zudem wurden jegliche SchutzmaЯnahmen fьr die verbliebenen Bдume und Gebдude verhindert, weitere Abrissbefehle erteilt und somit Druck auf die langjдhrige Betreiberin der Anlage, Frau Melahat Altın, ausgeьbt, um sie zur Aufgabe zu zwingen.
Wir bitten Sie hiermit, dafьr zu sorgen, dass schnellstens die Personen, die an der Vernichtung von Altincamp beteiligt sind, zur Verantwortung gezogen werden und die Anlage in ihren ursprьnglichen Zustand versetzt wird.
