It is time for Swimming Canada to take the necessary steps to ensure that swimming in this country is restored to a level in which Canadians can take a measure of pride. This organisation under the leadership of Dave Johnson has been reduced to a fraction of its former self. The Athens Olympics are merely the final straw in a long list of embarrassing and inappropriate decisions made both on and off deck with regards to swimming in Canada.
We the undersigned request the immediate resignation or termination of Dave Johnson and perhaps others as an overhaul of swimming in Canada is required.
