We, the undersigned, ask Lorne Michaels and NBC to bring back Chris Parnell for the 2006-07 season of "Saturday Night Live". We promise, should Michaels and NBC relent, to:
1. Watch the opening monologue of every episode, even though it is almost always lame and dependent upon one of a handful of tired conceits;
2. Watch the first sketch after "Weekend Update", which is usually not any good;
3. Watch at least some of the commercials instead of changing the channel to "Sportscenter";
4. Watch the musical guest (with the sound muted).
