Save Jimmy

The purpose of this petition is to get a good friend of mine of the military. Before you even think about the above purposal hear us out...

His name is Jim Ray (for protection, the last name isn't important)
Jim is in infantry which is a soldier whom fights on foot. He has since finished training and is currently in Hawaii. He wasn't there long before he realized that he would be sent to Iraq this September.

Jim, like most people would be, doesn't like that idea and as such his attitude about his career choice has drastically changed. Before he even entered basic training, Jim claimed that he didn't care if he lived or died and now he expresses much in the former of the two.

Also, Jim won't be spending his days in Iraq sipping hen with Snoop Dogg at the Holday Inn. He will be sent to a red zone which, by the name, is obviously a dangerous place for anyone to be. There is a very good chance, considering the number of marine casualities, that Jim could die.

This is not an anti-bush/war site. The sole and only purpose of this page is to create an effort to help out our friend in need. Including me, Jim has always been there for his friends and so we are returning the favor. Politics have nothing to do with this whatsoever!

As of 3/8/06 we have just a little under six months before he departs. Jim needs our help! Let us all unite and get Jimmy Ray out today!
