Save Our Herbal Choices!

Ayurvedic Herbal Supplements and Treatments under threat from UK Government Ministers.

Please VOTE NOW to stop this from happening.

Unless the current Government position is challenged BEFORE 2nd November 2009, almost all Indian Ayurvedic Herbal products will become unavailable in the UK and then Europe wide.

This will mean that we, the citizens of these states, will be restricted to having to use products manufactured by pharmaceutical companies and have NO CHOICES AVAILABLE to us. The prospect of being at the mercy of these companies (Pfizer, the largest drugs company was fined 1.4 BILLION pounds last month for FRAUD, bribing Health Professionals and lying about 13 of its drugs!) is not acceptable, and the manner in which this UK Labour Government is proceeding is NOT DEMOCRATIC.

Ministers who WE PAY are about to renege and let access to our herbal options become banned. Tell these Ministers, whose expenses we also pay, OUR PUBLIC SERVANTS, that you require them to accept the findings of the House of Lords Select Committee AND the 3 Working Groups and by introducing the recommended regulation, to ensure that our herbal options remain open to us, by supporting this petition.

With ever increasing numbers of people becoming dissatisfied with drugs and seeking treatment from the Ayurvedic/Herbal/traditional medicine and acupuncture sector, failure of Government to honour its long-term commitment to ensure availability of these choices is a betrayal of the public interest.

Like never before, safeguarding our own health and the health of our children is now OUR responsibility alone. Please support this petition and protect your right to choose your own medicines from as wide a choice as possible and save Acupuncture, Ayurvedic and Herbal Medicines in the UK and Europe by VOTING HERE.
