Save Our Movies - Get Fox Exec Tom Rothman fired

This petition is in place to alert Twentieth Century Fox to the feelings of film audiences all around the world regarding Co-Chairman of Fox Filmed Entertainment Tom Rothman. We collectively wish that Tom Rothman is to be fired for his involvement and sabotage of several popular projects and franchises, thus stopping him from further ruining beloved film series such as X-Men and Alien/Predator.
A Hollywood businessman desiring only money and thoroughly disinterested in making art and great film, Tom Rothman is guilty of the following:
- Ruining two of the best and most loved science fiction horror franchises, Alien and Predator, placing them in the hands of the untalented, nauseating Paul WS Anderson, and allowing him to make his infantile unwatchable crap.
- Attempting to sabotage the X-Men series before the first film was completed, making budget cuts and changing release dates in attempt to make the film fail.
- Delivering a disasterously condescending speech at the Saturn Awards, both talking down to film lovers everywhere regarding his involvement with film projects and bragging about his sexual relations with star Jessica Harper, similar to an unintelligent high schooler.
- His current involvement with the X-Men 3 project has destroyed all hopes that it will be of the high standard set by the previous films. He is responsible for driving away celebrated director Bryan Singer and having him replaced by incompetent, offensive fratboy Brett Ratner, then further corrupting its progress, disadvantaging the project and driving away fans.
For these actions and more, we wish to see him fired from his position and allow someone with talent and passion to replace him, thus ensuring not just better film entertainment for the film audiences of the world, but more income from these films for Fox. Sacking him will prove valuable to all parties except himself.
We are the people who buy your movie tickets, your DVDs, your merchandise. Behind every one of these signatures is a person who will not be supporting your movies because you allow Mr Rothman to continue hurting your productions. Removing him from his position will generate further income and, seen from a business perspective, an artloving perspective and a moral perspective, must be done.
