Save Tenzin Delek Rinpoche from Death Sentence

Dear Sir:
We, the undersigned, are concerned about the arrest of Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, a highly respected Tibetan Buddhist leader, who is now unlawfully sentenced to death for a crime he never committed. He was arrested in 2002 for his 'involvement' in a series of bomb explosions and he is currently being held in Tuandong Prison, Sichuan Province of eastern Tibet. We believe that no credible evidence linking Tenzin Delek Rinpoche has been released publicly, nor did he receive a fair trial.

We urge the Government of People's Republic of China to withdraw the death sentence to Tenzin Delek Rinpoche and free him immediately!
