We petition Redbridge Borough Council, to not cut the funds for the Redbridge Drama Centre so that it can continue running an excellent service to both young people and adults within our community.
The drama centre team outreach to local schools in Redbridge and provides support to teachers, pupils (up to A level); and children with disabilities and special educational needs.
Services also include evening and weekend youth theatre groups for children from reception to age 21. In addition, there is a vibrant adult group. The cutting edge fringe theatre programme and resident professional theatre company provides entertainment and education. Since its conception in 1975 the Redbridge Drama Centre has forged strong links with the international community.
This national treasure is the only one of its kind in the United Kingdom. Please don't cut the funding for this irreplaceable resource.
